Off-site in Leimert Park: Brazilian-born artist Thaís Muniz explores the history of head wraps in Brazil and the broader Afro-Atlantic diaspora, illustrating their cultural significance through tutorials and workshops. 12pm: Enjoy a 30-min talk on the history of head wraps. 12:30-3pm: Drop by and watch Muniz demonstrate a range of styles on volunteers (first come, first served basis, ages 13+.)
